SanDisk® MicroSDHCTM 8GB Memory Card Review

I remember paying over $600 for a 1GB internal hard drive, so less than $5 for a 16GB -Storage device smaller than my big toe - that's amazing! I don't usually save videos, so this device should suit me for a long time.

Well packaged, comes via USPS, fits in a small mailbox in my apartment. I had a question for the seller, answered very quickly what I wanted. If you try to use an SD card larger than 8GB, unless otherwise specified, the smartphone will fail and not boot.

The photo stick has arrived. Read the directions on the box which were flimsy at best. Used the site and followed the instructions there. However, if your phone is different from the examples on the site, then you need to contact the seller and still wait for his response.

I bought two of these to answer the pop-up messages that I need to add an SD card to avoid having to re-download channels in the Roku player. I have since learned that SanDisk microSD cards are not compatible with Roku 3 players. Neither card worked even after I formatted my PC to Fat32. Don't buy if you're using a Roku player. Now I have two cards and I don't need them.

This is one of the many microSD cards I own. I don't even remember why I got that particular card. I think it was an old Android phone or a point and shoot camera. I've always trusted Sandisk since I bought my first one almost 20 years ago; and I have so many, including the new U3 Good Extreme for 4k, that I have literally given many away to friends, family and clients. Kingston is my second choice, but brands other than these two either don't work or fail. Overtime with minimal effort.

Bought in 2017, this week I finally tried it for a raspberry pi project. After I wrote to them once, the cards stopped working. I wanted to increase the capacity of my 4GB Sandisk Sansa Clip+ MP3 player and this tiny (really small, square and less than a dime) card was the perfect choice. Hello! I recently bought this card so my brother and I could double the storage space on our PSPs (with MS Pro Duo photo-fast microSD adapters). I want to report that I succeeded!
