Saral blue is my favorite color

I used saral blue to have my students draw patterns on canvas. I really like this product and it rubs great on canvas. I prefer blue to any other color because it's easy to see when transferred to my canvas and as I mentioned before it's very easy to erase or cover over with acrylic paint.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Infinitely lazy

This product works for me, wood burn transfer!

I've used this before in my "Woodburn" work, makes quite dark but still clean. easy to burn. I have found that the carbon paper for this process is dirty and when you try to clean it the carbon paper just smudges. I like roll type graphite paper because it is less wasteful.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Clarity

Failed to transfer pattern to interface

I'm not sure if the product has an expiry date or if it would be a different experience if used with cotton but not much with wool and its interaction well endured. My instructor likes the brand and was disappointed with the difficulty I had using it - used a cheaper substitute.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not as thick as other collections

Didn't meet my sewing needs, went back. Expensive.

Disappointed with it. Used to transfer pattern markings onto fabric. Of course, I might not have used it correctly, but I followed the directions exactly. The transmitted markings were too faint to be seen in red or blue. Both returned. Expensive, especially since they have not been used. Now the marking is transferred manually. If you are unsure about this product, I do not recommend it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good, but not great: Paper and Paper Crafts

What I like: I can mark fabric quickly and accurately. I make my own patterns and like to vary the seam allowances so I need a marker to give me seam lines, darts etc and I can trim the seam allowances to my liking. Also, it comes out fairly easily, which professional waxed carbon paper (especially on polyester) can't. Also, unlike wax marking media, Saral does not fuse to the fabric when pressed. What I don't like: It comes off too easily (especially on polyester).

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • No Instructions

Use sheets repeatedly

This is THE BEST PRODUCT! It is amazing to follow the commercial pattern of clothes of different sizes. NO pattern. I make several men's shorts in different sizes. It works very well and leaves clear marks on the fabric. I put transparent tape over the pattern lines to keep the pattern pieces from tearing when tracing. There are multiple colors to choose from and it can be used over and over again. I have used a lot of tracing paper and NOTHING beats this amazing product! Contains no wax andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Without automatic
