It is the ideal travel charger for energy-hungry devices.

This product is my white whale. As someone who constantly travels with four devices, I've been looking for a charger to power them and haven't found anything - until now. 13" MacBook Pro - 60W via USB CSony A7R IV or Google PixeliPhone 11 ProApple Watch ChargerEverything I've bought up until this point has failed whenever the laptop was under load and pulled the full 60W, after which it ran out of power quicker than getting power this charger can handle it with aplomb. Most often I come back to…

It's very heavy but versatile

Studying away from home all day, I have to charge my headphones, MacBook, iPad and mobile phone. It can do everything at once, no problem. I carried around four different chargers (seriously, Apple? WHY! But that hassle is another story). This charger is amazing. It's really durable and charges all my devices very quickly. The only thing I don't like is that it's exceptionally heavy like all my other chargers combined, but it still saves space so it's ok.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No productivity

Started this a few months ago on a 3.5 year old MacBook Pro. Bought to have just one charger to power my MacBook and all the peripherals on my workstation. Nice clean solution to the clutter. But after a few weeks, the MacBook's battery started to swell, resulting in a costly replacement of the top. The charger tends to get hot all the time even when nothing is plugged into it. Attention had to be paid to this red flag in advance. From now on I will stick with the original Apple charger.

Exactly as advertised

REVIEW UPDATE. When I first got it, the main issue was the functionality of the USB-C ports, which worked great. But it wasn't until a few weeks later that I had to use both USB-A ports. And one didn't work. I wrote to Satechi support and in short, a week later I received a new device for free. Not only a great product but also great customer service. ORIGINAL TESTING. Works perfectly. I charge my 2020 13" MacBook Pro and 12" iPad Pro at the same time and charging works fine. The MacBook gets…

Wonderful USB-C and USB-A travel charger and desktop charger.

The Satechi Pro USB-C PD 108W Desktop Charger is great. To me, Satechi's description of this charger is a little weird; I hope the Satechi people will tolerate me. I personally wouldn't call it a "desktop charger" but more of a travel charger. I have a lot of chargers at home, even a Satechi 75W Dual Type-C PD Travel Charger (I also have a lot of outlets under the countertop). On the go my MacBook Pro is my digital darkroom, just like at home. Since I use Photoshop and it takes up a lot of…

I'm looking for the second version

I have an old version of this hub. I think the new version of this hub should optimistically support charging two MacBook Pro 16s at the same time. I use my MacBook Pro15 (2019), MacBook Air (2018), iPhone 10 Max and Note 4 to test this hub. My MacBook Pro had two 5K videos and one 4K video. My MacBook Air had two 2K videos and one HD video. At the same time, I was playing Clash of Clan on both my iPhone 10 max and my Note 4. In testing, this hub, like the old version of the charger, got a…
