Compact and works well. I've used it to transfer power and connect USB devices. I found that another adapter, Mini DisplayPort to USB-C, didn't seem to work unless I plugged it directly into the computer. To be honest, I like the versatility and multiple connectivity options.

This adapter made my Macbook useful. There are only two problems. First, it gets very hot when plugged into my display's HDMI port. This can be the cause of the problem when the monitor is not working properly (slow blinking on and off) in the morning. I have no way of verifying if the problem is with the monitor or the adapter. If I disable HDMI and enable it again, everything is fine again. I would also like an additional USB-C port.

I was wrong, sure I need light weight because I have to carry in my laptop bag, it's very well made. It's also a simple plug and play to recognize it on my laptop.
