My laptop won't charge anymore even without this hub. I don't know if my Anker PowerPort Atom PD 4 or this Satechi hub was the culprit, but I got a notification on my OSX saying too many USB devices were using power, so I unplugged a USB stick from the hub, but then found that my battery was draining and not charging anymore.
