Description of Saucony S10551 35 Kinvara Women's Athletic Shoes - Blackout Running Shoes

Synthetic-and-mesh. Imported. Rubber sole. Shaft measures approximately low-top from arch. A roomy toe box provides ample room for feet to splay, while the midfoot and heel elements frame your foot to hold it in place. The echelon 7 is also helpful for runners who suffer from underpronation, also known as supination.

I had to send them back but wore them. You are very uncomfortable.

I have always worn Saucony but this one is very uncomfortable. Zero arch support. Seems to be too much padding without proper fit or support. My legs hurt after half a day's work. I work in a hospital and I'm on my feet all day.

Pros
  • Comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Some little things

Pure comfort - road running

The plush sole of these shoes is exactly what I need with my underpronation. The toe is pretty roomy. My problem feet love these shoes! I was very reluctant to pay such a high price, but I was desperate to find shoes that wouldn't hurt me. I absolutely love them. As a bonus, they are more attractive than most shoes for problem feet.

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • I have doubts

I love these shoes! - Road running

Small and wide feet don't suit me. I also use orthopedic insoles. These shoes fit my orthopedic insoles and are immediately comfortable. There is plenty of room in the toe box and the laces are flexible so I can adjust the shoe as needed throughout the day. They are more expensive than what I usually buy but the exact fit is worth it.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Hard to say

Shoes with soft cushion perfect for underpronators

These shoes were instantly comfortable the first time I put them on! The cushioning is best described as plush, and I feel the shape of the shoe fits my feet well, with moderate arches and under pronation. I usually run 3 miles straight a couple of times a week but I'm sure the shoes will stay comfortable beyond that distance.

  • Best in Niche

Got the wrong pair twice

I love the sneakers they are great. This is my 5th or 6th Kinvar pair. The mediocre rating is because I got the wrong color not just once, but twice. I ordered coral red but got sky gray. I sent back the first sky gray pair and asked for a replacement, but in return I received a second sky gray pair. Given the extended delivery times due to the Covid19 crisis, I've decided to keep the sky gray as I'm in dire need of new running shoes. However, I am annoyed that after paying $110 I did not get…

UPDATE - Wide order for low arch support

UPDATE I contacted Saucony direct on 5/25/2020 and they have confirmed that they do not control the warehouse where each shoe is made. Although my very comfortable 5s were made in China, the 7s are made in Vietnam. It turns out that it's not the manufacturer that makes them comfortable, it's the width. I found out about this after reordering the Echelon 7 through their website. They were uncomfortable so after a few tries I ordered them wide which made a huge difference for my deep arches…

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Very expensive
