A little stability is good for women

I ordered these for running. Maybe for hiking when it gets cooler. I have the Saucony Omni 16 which I love. Very supportive and good arch support. These missed. They are definitely light, cool colors and soft, but not very stable. They feel soft, not textured enough for my pronation. Fit was good. However, TTS for Saucony are not very wide if you want the width. In any case, you may need to increase the size by 1/2.

Pros
  • Steinplatte offers additional protection
Cons
  • Approximately

Terrible redesigned outsole

I've been using the Saucony Peregrine series for trail running for years and love the super grippy, non-slip outsole that made this one special shoe. I've worn Peregrine 10 models to shreds. The outsole of the new Peregrine 10 is completely different, with a flatter profile and fewer lugs. This isn't the Peregrine 10 I'm used to, there was no warning about any other sole and I wouldn't buy this current model.

Pros
  • Reinforced to protect the foot from dirt on the trail Special FORMFIT construction offers perfect grip on uneven terrain
Cons
  • disappears

My new trail runner

I've run technical trails with La Sportivas and road runs with Saucony/Brooks. Decided to try the Peregrine 10 after being disappointed with the durability of my latest La Sportiva. (They fell apart quickly and the fit/lacing system would let my foot slide forward and pinch my toes on steep slopes unless I laced them too tight.) The Peregrine 10 is an absolute 5-star system. They felt a little snug until my first run was over. Now they are perfect. -Large stone slab for protection. -Great fit…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Almost never

Great shoes! Highly recommended!

Ooooooo I love these shoes! I hope they never change it, I never want to buy another shoe again! I'm seriously considering upgrading to my size! I was disappointed with the last pair of Saucony and the sole started to peel off after about a month so I was nervous about buying another pair. The soles are so heavy! The deep treads are great for running in the snow (in Michigan in January) and the fabric is thin but very durable! I don't write many reviews, but I came here specifically to write…

Pros
  • Shaft height about mid-arch
Cons
  • I'll add later
