    Broken and not that wide.

    The 2w width wasn't as wide as the new Balance width and mine had cuts on either side near the tongue where it looked like someone was trying to squeeze a foot in and it ripped. They are going back.

    Perfect fit for my 5 year old - decent quality for .

    Perfect fit for my 5 year old - good quality for the price. However, he doesn't hold his shoes well, so I'll have to buy new ones soon.

    My son has very thin feet and it was painful to press on them.

    We were really excited about these shoes because we thought they were big enough, but unfortunately they weren't. I find the length just right, but the body/top area is too tight. My son has very thin feet and it was painful to press on them. I'm not sure if anyone has a foot that fits these shoes but they look amazing!

    We really like these shoes

    We really like these shoes but wish they were a little more durable. My little fella is *really* tough on his boots and we could see the wear and tear after day one.

    Extremely disappointed

    My son wore them for the first time on his first day of kindergarten. He came home from school and the silver on his toes was completely worn out. Looks like he's had the shoes for months. At $55, I certainly didn't expect them to look like this by the end of day one. Extremely disappointed!

    Also too narrow for narrow feet.

    The length was good but very narrow and badly needed more velcro throughout the strap to hold on. You have to pull to get the small Velcro square. My child has skinny legs so I can't imagine who would suit them best. Three stars for good, broad base structure and ease of use. Nice and easy to put on for a squirming baby but I won't be buying them again.

    Poor quality but my son likes the colors and the cut.

    My son loves the colors and the cut. I think they are a little tight for wide shoes, but not enough to send back. **UPDATE** After about a month of wearing, some of the protectors started peeling off. I had to glue them, and since then I have had to glue different parts of the tread. I expected better quality from this brand.

    Poorly designed Velcro

    The velcro on this pair is different than the velcro on other Saucony shoes we've purchased. I don't like this velcro as it is bulkier and harder to press.

    I liked the shoes but they ran small. Unfortunately, as it was a birthday present for a nephew who lives an hour away, I did not return it on time and missed the return deadline.

    Great shoes: my review

    These shoes fit my son perfectly. I like the sole of the shoe. He's been wearing them for 4 months now and no signs of breakage. They also offer good support. I also like the Velcro on the tongue. It keeps the tongue in place. We will definitely buy the next size up when it's ready. As mentioned in a previous review, the shoe's toe box wears out fairly quickly, but it's not a big deal.

    Great shoes: my review

    My 7 year old loves them. They seem solid for the price, but the velcro feels a little flimsy. Even if she falls, the shoe stays the way it was designed. We'll see over time but I can see these shoes will last a while.

    These are great looking shoes and they appear to be well made but they are NOT very wide. My son has a very wide (and thick) foot and these are more suited to a narrow to medium width with limited toe height.
