No, I don't go bowling.

Strong but comfortable after I adjusted all the laces. My 11.5ft fits perfectly in a 45.5, which according to the box is actually an 11 and 2/3. Very good hold. I found the heel was well cushioned but the ball of the foot was not. I wore thicker socks for the first few days so that the inner seams and embroidery would tear a bit. Soft arch support and very secure heel protection. Despite my wife's disapproving looks at the bowling shoes, I was pleasantly surprised. Update 15/11: I have an itchy

These shoes require longer laces for people with wide feet

These shoes are narrower than regular shoes, so people with wide feet need longer laces. I usually wear wide feet because I have wide feet. If I don't find the shoe I want in the right size, I take half a size too big. For example, I wear a US size 9.5 Wide or US 10 Regular. So for these Scarpas I bought a size 43 which is a US size 10. However, when I tried these shoes on, the first thing I noticed was that they were too tight. Luckily, these Scarpas are laced to the toe, so you can find a…

2nd Pair of Mojitos Well Made Comfortable Looks Great

I have a 2 year old pair of Shark Gray Mojitos and recently bought myself a pair of Blue Lakes as a Christmas present. They are very comfortable - I wear them with shorts and jeans all year round. Shoes run a bit small - I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and this is a 9.5 (EU size 42.5). I've used them for light hikes, but they're usually my go-to shoes for everyday wear, trips to the mall, walks in DC, and any other "just party" activity. Mojitos draw a lot of attention, especially the blue pair. I…

Pros

Perfect Everyday Scarpas

I have a range of other Scarpas from high altitude shoes to light walking shoes. I was looking for casual shoes so I ordered a new Margarita and these for comparison. Margarita seemed a bit flat and didn't have the same quality as this one. The Mojito feels almost as durable and supportive as my multisports and has nice styling. If you're from other Scarpas, you'll definitely prefer their margarita unless style is your only concern. I also love that they are made in a Romanian factory, which is

Not for those who are on their feet all day.

First I bought Scarpa Crux shoes. The ones that look like sneakers and I liked them so much I ordered a mojito maybe 4 months later. I found that mojitos hurt my feet after a while after being on my feet all day and this was after I'd had them for a few months so they were pretty worn out. I suspect the Crux has more padding. can stand in it for hours. Do customers have regrets for buying mojitos? No way! I love these shoes and they fit perfectly. I just don't wear them to work anymore. I think

Pros
  • High thrust | The molded Vibram Spyder outsole combines durability and reliable traction.
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Finally! Comfort and luxury all day long.

Mojitos are great for the whole day. At this point I have no idea how many miles I've ridden in these shoes because I don't even notice them, which is what I want out of a shoe. Basically I've worn a pair of Zens and I've worn other similar shoes from other brands; and where Zens have outlived almost everything else - they just aren't as convenient as mojitos for everyday/everyday use. Zen is tougher, wears out harder and is designed for harder work; while at work I wear mojitos all day, run…
