Schluter E shelf is a really good product! My tiler, who uses many Schlüter products in his work, has never seen anything like this. He found them easy to install and loves the look, as do I.

The product is well made but the sizing is misleading. We even cut out the paper shapes to make sure they fit and it was all for naught. My shower is large and could handle the shelves. Be sure.

Any alcove is more prone to water damage, and since we showered again due to water damage at the previous owner, we definitely didn't need any of these. They work great, are very durable and beautiful. Install directly into 1/8" tile gaps

This is a strong, durable stainless steel shelf that installs without much difficulty into an existing finished tiled wall with 1/8" grout lines. It took less than 45m from start to finish following the instructions provided. I used a Dewalt diamond coated rasp blade on a vibratory saw which made the job a lot easier. Maybe you could do this with a Dremel tool if that's all you had. I don't think hand tools would have done it alone, certainly it would have been easier to install before…

I wanted our new shower to have built in corner shelves. I struggled to find one that matched our tile selection or find a decent tile selection that offered a shelf in their tile line. It was a great option as we made polished nickel hardware all over. They are easy to clean. You are strong. I highly recommend them.

This is a solid, one-piece, stainless steel shelf that installs without much difficulty into an existing, pre-tiled wall with 1/8" grout lines. It took less than 45m to start and finish by following the instructions attached. I used a Dewalt diamond coated rasp blade on an oscillating saw which made the job a lot easier. You could probably do this with a Dremel tool if that's all you had. I don't think normal hand tools can do that, of course it would be easier to install before grouting.
