Description of Schmetz Chrome Embroidery Sewing Machine Needles

Schmetz Chrome Needles resist heat and wear. Chrome aids the thread to pass through the needle eye with less friction and less heat build-up. Chrome also allows the needle to pass through the fabric with less resistance. 50 Schmetz Chrome Embroidery needles. Chrome plated. Light ball point, wide eye and groove. Use with rayon, polyester and other specialty embroidery threads. The special scarf, widened groove and enlarged eye protect fragile threads and guard against excess friction allowing trouble-free embroidery and decorative stitching.

Sharp and Smooth Needles for Stitches That Pop!

Based on my experience, the Schmetz Chrome Embroidery needles are a must-have for any sewing project. They are sharp, smooth and easy to use, making stitching a breeze. The quality is noticeable in the finished product as stitches pop with precision. However, the price point may be a deterrent for some sewers.

Pros
  • Increased durability due to chrome coating, providing superior wear resistance
Cons
  • Requires a higher initial investment compared to non-chrome needles

Good work!

I am very happy with these needles! Much fewer broken/bent needles compared to the regular Schmetz 75/11 embroidery needles I originally used. I use them on my Brother SE 1900.

Pros
  • 50 Schmetz chrome embroidery needles
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Expensive waste needles.

These were the worst needles I've ever bought. I have been embroidering for over 15 years and always use Schmetz but they snapped my thread and just messed up my project. I thought I might have a bad needle so I tried another one with the same problem. so I sent them back, but the premiere was far from easy. I had to drive 25 miles to a grocery store to leave them in the back of the store during the pandemic and this was my only option to return. not happy at all.

Pros
  • Schmetz chrome needles are heat and wear resistant
