This item was great in terms of finish, quality and self adhesion, adhesion on the corners was excellent but adhesion on the sides was poor. I had to add extra glue to keep it in place properly. I used this on a 1st gen iPad mini so I understand the finish is thin on the sides. Overall I liked the product, just wish they had added an extra little adhesive for the areas that needed it.

This product comes with pre-applied adhesive strips for attaching to the iPad. This makes replacements much easier than having to take them off by hand and put them on the screen. If you are replacing an iPad Mini screen. Get this!

I'm so glad I found this, my local cell phone repair shop wanted to charge me $172. Removing the old one and installing the new one was a breeze, but it took a long time so make sure you have time to carefully swap out the screen. The exchange took about 2 hours. Good fit and quality product. Three things that might be different to give it 5 stars are: * Must have instructions or at least a link to the instructions. Several instructions I found used different tools. *You must either have new magnets pre-installed or at least glue to attach the old magnets from the replaced digitizer. * Possibly a small magnet plate to hold the screws. The digitizer needs to be replaced, except for the hair dryer. It took a newbie about 2 hours to perform the operation…

The digitizer looks good, well packaged. However, this product does not fix the typical broken screen problem. Most versions of the iPad have a separate digitizer and LCD display. But these versions do not exist. I jumped to conclusions and ordered this without realizing they were related. This is not an issue for this article, but it needs to be made clear that unless you have the equipment to remove not just the LCD/digitizer assembly without destroying the LCD, and then other equipment to do

The screen itself fits perfectly and the self-adhesive tapes are very practical. It would be better if instructions were included. I had to search through various YouTube videos to find one that was easy to follow. Be careful when unscrewing the LCD as it looks like Apple has put Loctite or some kind of screw glue on it.
