Sturdy bags but may have slow leaking

My place is very windy and I bought 12 these bags to anchor kids soccer goal and trampoline etc in backyard.Good- less messy than sand bag- relatively sturdy. I left in backyard day and night, sun or rain. So far only 1 of them is brokenBad- a little more expensive than I expected- all bag may leak slowly because the bottom of all bags are wet even in sunny days and all bags seem lost small amount of water.

Pros
  • My wife loves them. Uses them to hold canopy down at swim meets. Very handy, easy to fill.
Cons
  • The bags are not compatible with all types of canopies

Works great: my feedback

We bought them to hold down a shade attached to our patio. They work great. We have a very windy backyard, these do the trick.

Pros
  • These canopy weights are easy to use & fold up for easy storage.
Cons
  • The bags add unnecessary weight to the canopy

Great as weights for Pool Cover!

I use these as weights to hold down my pool cover. The other water bags found on amazon are horrible in quality.I understand that these are made for canopies; however, the quality and durability of this product is so good.Basically, you just stretch out the product from its packaging, fill with water, screw cap closed, and you're good! There are no leaks found and I bought a total of 8 weights. It is holding my pool nicely. Price may be a concern but I am sure I am going to use these weights for

Pros
  • Easy to fill sturdy
Cons
  • The bags are not very effective in windy conditions

Great water weights for pop up canopy

Got these water weights so that I could use them when I needed to and deflate them to save space when storing them, and they do the job. I stayed away from the sand type because I didn’t want to store sand bags. The bags are well made and water-tight, with a couple of nozzles (not quite sure why…).

Pros
  • This items are perfect. Will buy a set again for my other canopy!
Cons
  • The bags can become clogged with debris and require maintenance

purchased for Dinghy Cruising - very practical and useful either as ballast (filled with water) or filled with air for extra flotation. Easy to use for either purpose

Pros
  • Holding down ur canopy even in strong winds. Ave also placed stakes within.
Cons
  • The bags can freeze in cold weather and become unusable

Best Canopy weights ever!

I've just tried these weights and they are so easy to use! I had tried before the sand weight bags but I had to buy sand to fill them and then it was very difficult to move them around because I didn't want to empty the sand, but now with these water weights bag I just fill them with water when I need and empty it out afterwards which makes them so easy to use and move around and to storage them.I secured my tent with these bags and they held down my tent very well with winds blowing.I would…

Pros
  • Got these to weigh down a 10x10 easy up, easy to use & did a good job in windy conditions
Cons
  • The bags can create an unsightly appearance

Work perfect! in my review

I bought these to hold down our BBQ shade during wind storms. These work great! They are well made and are super easy to fill and attach.

Pros
  • flexible and easy to move empty, but need water source at destination to be as useful as possible.
Cons
  • The bags are made from low-quality materials

Keeps It Steady - my new review

My son uses his as tent weights for his tent at farmers markets. They are easy to transport and seem to be holding up well, so far. I shared mine with artist friends (they come as a set of 4) to attach to my landscape painting umbrella. My one small criticism as that the plastic washer ring is easy to lose if you are emptying and refilling the bag.

Pros
  • These are exactly what we were looking for and appear to be very well made
Cons
  • The bags can create a tripping hazard

What a mess! for my opinion

What a mess. They leak. I used these one time at my Farmer’s Market booth. I would not recommend these. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Easy to install and did the job during windy days
Cons
  • The bags can attract insects and other pests

Fantastic product! for my opinion

These water bags hold down our large canopy at camp tables great! I really love that these can be used on concrete slabs where tent stakes cannot. The Velcro straps are long enough to handle our 45* angle legs (2 of 3 straps work). The seams and fittings seem to be heavy-duty and durable. I couldn’t be happier with the product.

Pros
  • Weight bag deflates for easy storage.
Cons
  • The bags can be difficult to store and take up too much space

High quality, perfect & versatile

I bought these in May and have used them twice. They're very well made and easy to transport (we ship these around with supplies for our events). I can fill them up at the hotel and take them on-site if no water at the venue. I'm pretty disappointed the price has DOUBLED in two months for a four-pack of these, however. came to buy some more today and am looking elsewhere. Would've been 5 stars if the price wasn't so ridiculous.

Pros
  • low profile, so not a tripping hazard. worked great in moderately strong winds with a 10x10 canopy.
Cons
  • The bags can be difficult to empty and clean

Good enough for light winds

The good:* easy to fill if you're ok with some overflow;* fastened well onto all 4 legs;* held up to 10-15mph gusts;* attractive color;* sturdy handle;* if folks stub their toes on them, it's no big deal. The bad:* only 19lbs, not 22 like described when full;* fall over if not strapped to a tent, because they're just big bags of water;* few street fairs have water on site;* one of them leaked a little bit from a seam.Overall, I got my money's worth, and this brand is as good as any, but I'm not…

Pros
  • Anavim
Cons
  • The bags can be an eyesore and decrease the aesthetic appeal of the canopy

Easy solution to windy days

Easy to use. Keeps winds from lifting portable canopies. Simply attach and add water. Dump it when you’re done and store the empty bags.

Pros
  • Patio Furniture & Accessories
Cons
  • The bags can be frustrating to fill up with water

Works as Promised best in my review

These work well and are easy to attach to a canopy. I am using one on an umbrella stand to keep it from blowing over on a windy day.

Pros
  • Great product fast shipping
Cons
  • The bags can rust over time

Pick these over other canopy leg weights

Purchased these to hold down a canopy. We have almost continual wind this time of year. The canopy didn't budge even in 25 mph gusts. Easy to fill with water and the velcro strapping accommodates multiple sizes of canopy legs. When not in use, they fold flat to store. And I did use the water for my plants and fountains when I emptied them. Much better than dangerous weights and you won't stub your toes on them if you take a wrong step.

Pros
  • I prefer these to sand weights since they are so much easier to empty and fill.
Cons
  • Great idea - 2 of 4 missing gaskets which makes them leak. Sad...

Simple & Sturdy: my feedback

Great product for adding weight to tents on any surface. I use mine on my driveway where I cant drive ground stakes. These hold my tents with ease, can be used on the legs or hung from cross members; supports or both! A very inexpensive way to add peace of mind.

Pros
  • very good
Cons
  • The bags can cause damage to the canopy if not used correctly

These weights are pricey but well worth the cost. They are durable yet lightweight and do an excellent job of keeping my farmer's market canopy held down even during windy days.

Pros
  • Leak free and seem to be made well. Time will tell.
Cons
  • The bags can obstruct the view of the surrounding area

Great for weighting down gazebos

These worked for our gazebo that is not a pop up with 4 pole legs. It’s not easy to find weights that work for L-cornered "legs.” We needed something to weight down the corners because we didn’t want to drill into our patio. Filled, they look good and do the job.

Pros
  • Love them
Cons
  • The bags can be a hassle to use and take too much time to set up

Great concept, bad delivery. Not worth the mess they create

After the 3rd use, 2 of the bags started leaking resulting in an uneven tent and were packing up due to wind. Not good. Great concept but not practical for more than 1 or 2 uses. These cost me more money than they're worth. My search for sandless bags continues

Pros
  • Way better than sand bags! Would order again!
Cons
  • The bags can create additional stress on the canopy's frame
