I love this brand and have bought several since my daughter was born. However, this last pair we received started to peel off after wearing it once. The silver on the shoes has peeled and worn off making them look like a cheap pair of shoes. My daughter had a silver pair last year and that didn't happen. Has this happened to anyone else? I am extremely disappointed. I love the fit and they seem comfortable for my daughter. The soles show little signs of wear.

For some reason there are several versions of this shoe and navigating by name is not enough. One version has a chunkier thick sole and an overly soft leather upper that scratches ridiculously easily. The other version has a thinner, more stylish sole and a harder and better protected leather upper that doesn't scratch. You may need to order multiple sizes and colors to find the right version to store. For us, this version was better, but there's no guarantee it will always be the case given…

I liked the look of these shoes but they are not very elegantly finished. First, the liner quickly fell out of one of the shoes (not glued properly). OK, I can live with that. But they rubbed off immediately and all the paint came off the shoes. This is a very bad design for children's shoes.
