Overall this is a pretty good stand/charger. It is durable and easy to install. It's not compact enough or strong enough for shorter phones like the folded Galaxy. Otherwise it's reasonably reliable for a standard cell phone and offers a good steady flow of current for charging, even when using navigation or YouTube etc. Eliminates extra cables, etc. Don't expect blazing-fast charging speeds, though.

I like a lot about this charger, but there are two things that make it useless. First, it heats up your phone a lot. I often get a warning that my phone is too hot to use. It looks like it's overheating. The second is the sensitivity of the automatic grippers, which close around the phone to keep it from falling out. They are too delicate to wear. Any light touch and they open and your phone falls to the ground.
