I bought this to wax seal some letters with black envelopes. I wanted gold. I got shimmery yellow. I guess you can say it leans more on the yellow-gold side not so much "light-gold" as the description and the image depicts. Some people may like this for other reasons as far as decorations or some other reason. I'm not too fond of it. The wax itself doest the trick.

Very thin and translucent wax. The candle wouldn’t stay lit and would burn the wax. In pics there’s wax I used before (blue) that worked much better.

The wick doesn’t melt wax very quickly so you’ll watch it drip very slowly and harden before you have enough to make a good seal. I’d recommend the glue stick version instead.

These definitely work, just finnicky to get the hang of. They are hard to stay lit, but that will most likely be the case for any wax seal candles. Color is great and it dries perfectly!

This product burns very slowly, so your wax is hardened on the envelope by the time you have enough for a stamp. The color is nice, but I would not buy this product again.

I purchased this for someone else. It was a gift and I needed a very specific blue. I was hesitant to buy just from a photo but Ebay had a good photo and I took the chance. When they arrived, they were perfect. My friend will be so surprised when I ship this with the seals I've ordered. I am very happy with my purchase. I am unable to respond as to their use as I will not be using them.

I was expecting a more vibrant light gold. It's more of a pale yellow and there's no sparkle to it whatsoever. Thanks for attention.

It really worked! Melted easily. Stayed in its Liquid form until enough pooled to stamp. This was my first try ever! That's my feedback.

They look nice and works great. It's a little bit shiny and a great light color. The only draw back is if you stamp it too hard, the wax is a little bit see through

Great color, would melt fine without the wick. Totally ruins it, makes it hard to cut it up in small pieces to melt. Threw them away!

The product works exactly as desired. The wick doesn't always melt the wax fast enough for my taste, but using a match or lighter generally solves any problems.It's a rectangle of wax; The only way it could go wrong is if I wasn't melting it.I have included a size comparison to Aviator playing cards. Any standard US playing Cards are equivalent.

I like to write a letter. I am old school. In a noncommunicative world due to over communication of everything thing. A letter should excite and I like it to show a bit of personality. I liked these for the intended use and they were inexpensive to some others. It has the color and texture of a "silver crayon”. It’s not super metallic that’s why I rated 4 stars. But just add som glitter.
