Only light-duty gel paper

I used this in LED landscape lighting to add color for Christmas. The paper was placed in front of low wattage, 3-5W LED MR16 bulbs. The red and blue both faded. The blue faded within 2 days in the hotspot of the light. I also tried placing the blue outside of the fixture, where it could remain cooler. It still faded. It can’t handle much light intensity. Green held up well and can be reused. The red faded enough to not be reusable. This gel paper can’t handle much luminous intensity.

  • The LED spot lights overwhelmed the gel. I wanted a blue light and got white even with two layers.
