About a month later the pumps became stuck in the down position which required us very hard pressure to get them out. This caused the acetone to fly out from above. Not cool and not safe. It was the same with all three bottles. However, we still use them as satisfactory acetone holders. Bottom line: They're ok for a while, but next time we'll look elsewhere.

Ideal for manicures. I'm not good at manicures, so I use a lot of nail polish remover. It was very frustrating handling an open bottle and being able to knock it over or open it multiple times during a manicure. The pump action of these bottles works great. I use cotton pads, not cotton balls, and haven't had any spillage issues at all.

Great product does the job but the star had to be removed because even if the entire top is covered and you press to wet the cotton pads, water splashes onto the sides and around the pump. This is annoying and you have to download very slow catfish to avoid it. And you really have to make sure that you cover the entire area reliably. Actually worth 3 stars, but I'm sticking with 4.

I need them when I get my nails done and I need something that doesn't break down with 100% acetone like most plastics do. These bottles are perfect and have lasted the last few months. I also like that you can press the edges and make a little puddle from the inside to dip the brush in. I often use an acetone brush to fix mistakes I make with nail polish and I can just gently press down and it spreads around the cup a bit instead of splattering all over like other bottles of the same style.

Handy size for storage. I use them for nails; one for alcohol, one for acetone, and one for non-acetone remover. The little pump works great and doesn't use any liquid when you pump it onto a cotton swab. I also tried that to see if I could collect some liquid into the little cup shaped reservoir at the top and that worked great too. It's good for dipping a cotton swab into small dabs of nail polish. Other reviewers said they had problems with the bottles but I didn't have any.

I really like the first set I bought. So much so that I bought a second set and waited over a month for shipping as they were out of stock at the time. The second set has finally arrived and it's not the same as the first (which looked like the picture but didn't have the brand name). The new set is bigger and the caps are purple which is disappointing. Very cheap price and works as expected! The pump on them is quite powerful, so you get a good amount of product all the time. If you pump aggressively, you run the risk of shooting some product off the sides of your cotton ball! I might end up buying them again because I keep finding products I want to use them on!
