It was so easy to install. I don't know if it's unique, but the tread installation process is pretty awesome. The point is to create a hinge to place the step so that you can remove the protective film and lower the step to the exact position without having to manually align it. I have ordered this item several times for 2 tablets that my small children play with. They threw pills on the floor several times. Sometimes they stepped on it, bumping into the corners as they ran around. All sorts of messes we can imagine from an infant and toddler. I want to say I like it. But I do not know. I bought 4 packs of two as I had 8 of the same protective tablets. One pack did not include installation accessories (alcohol wipes, stickers, etc.). So unless you were lucky enough to buy that two-pack, you wouldn't be able to install screen protectors.
