Shoei CWR-1 Spectra Pinlock Shield (Chrome) Review

Blue mirror tint looks lighter in hand than on a helmet. When installed (pinlock is very easy) on the helmet and head, the light does not come out from behind the visor, making the blue mirror look much more mirrored. Blocks a decent amount of light. So if you need more light restriction, opt for a dark range hood. This is a great compromise that blends better when the light is lower than a dark hood.

I recently received my product and it was clearly damaged. Installs in 4 minutes. 10/10 100% Shoei shield. I have gold and I love it. All stock photos on the internet are bad but in real life they look so good. I have both the clear Shoei shield and the blue Shoei mirror shield. I bought a replacement because I thought the original that came with my RF-1200 was defective. Both shields have a ripple effect that runs horizontally across the field of view. The ripple is in the plastic, not the pinlock. This is very annoying when driving at night with any sign. If you have a Shoei RF1200. You must get this shield. First of all, it looks fantastic. This will completely change the look of your helmet. It will go from blah. so that I never take this helmet shield. The build quality is very solid, well made. It has a new hem all the way up and down which I don't really like but it's for added rigidity. Pinlock works great. No mistake. Yes, it's chromed on the outside, but it's lighter compared to dark smoke. However, this is the only shield you will need.
