Description of 🏍️ Shogun Yamaha FZ09/FJ09/XSR900 Black PA2 No Cut Frame Sliders - ABS Compatible (2014-2022, Made in USA)

***NO BODY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED***. All Shogun Motorsports standard kits have SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE along with a 1 YEAR FREE puck replacement WARRANTY for White, Black and PA2 kits. All frame slider kits come with left and right frame sliders and all necessary mounting hardware. (Contact Shogun Motorsports for details.). Shogun frame sliders are superior to other frame slider brands by virtue of their construction and material. Shogun pucks are made of shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun pucks absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperatures like some types of foreign recycled Delrin or fade in the sun. Each puck has a press fit aluminum bushing to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the puck tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle. Some Shogun products are available in a 3 piece kit which consist of matching frame sliders, swing arm spools and bar ends. Made in the USA

Quality sliders

I fitted them correctly and after 6 months I checked the torque and they were still tight. I would buy them again for future bikes.

  • I don't have much to complain about, everything is fine

I bought it with the intention of using it as a .

I bought these with the intention of using them as footpegs on a 2015 fz09. Because of this, they can be a bit longer. Not exactly a hidden mount, in case anyone cares.

Perfect if you don't trust your Stealership

. Stealership dropped my bike a week after installing it. They saved the bike and barely scratched it. I didn't even bother to swap them after the fall.

Ok but problems with body and frame parts

Seems to be very good but my left side (the longer of the two) of the screw seems to have a different thread than the others. The shank threads easily, as does the screw on the other side, but one thread seems a bit too long and I can't use one side. What a shame, I ordered them and can only deliver one side, I will have to contact the company about this.

Pros
  • body and frame parts
Cons
  • tape

They are easy to install. Uses the same 5/16" hex ratchet wrench as stock engine mounting bolts. Definitely not like the ones in the Amazon photos. They're tapered - I think that's what their newer models look like? If my bike tips over for any reason (no hitting wood in collision) I will update how much these sliders reduce damage.
