I bought these after my double mastectomy. It was really important to be able to take a bath after the surgery while keeping the drains protected. The material was soft, hung around my neck and was easy to move when needed. The straps are adjustable.

I had a mastectomy and only bought this product to keep the drainage in the shower but the first time I tried it was the day after the surgery it was so super comfortable that I pretty much ended up wearing it all day and even a few times when I've gone out. It turned out to be way more useful than all of my mastectomy shirts! I definitely recommend it, it's a bit pricey but the comfort and light weight make it really worth it.

These shower drains made such a difference when I showered after my double mastectomy. A breast cancer survivor friend gave me a pair of these right before my surgery. It allowed me to shower while keeping my 4 drains. Showering after a bilateral mastectomy with drains is a nightmare, so it makes things a little easier. I'm sorry to write a critical review of a product that was made for such a great purpose, but I just didn't feel the quality of the product justified the price. I bought their drain holders to help me after my double mastectomy. When I received the product I was disappointed with the quality. It's all made from frayed and unevenly cut pieces of foam (the kind of foam those soda can sleeves are made of (to keep them cool)). Turns out I didn't need to shower, even though my surgeon sealed my drains with waterproof tape. Guilty. I had to switch to sponge baths in the tub which sat about 4 inches deep.
