Good set but missing something important

Good mic but this set doesn't include the 5/8" to 3/8" adapter needed to actually mount this mic on the included stand attach. This is just stupid, now I have to order it separately and wait for it to arrive before I can even use this stand.

Good Mic: Mics and Accessories

The SM58 is a good mic, just what I need for limited vocals. The stand is not professional but very convenient. However, the microphone holder does not match the stand. The adapter does not screw into the base of the holder; seem to be different subjects. I had to buy another microphone holder to make it work. Very poor planning and quality control. But only another $8 for a decent mic holder.

Great mic, great mic mount

Great mic, great mic mount, good mic stand XLR cable is a piece of crap. After about 3 months the XLR connector on the side of the cable just fell apart (and no, I didn't abuse it at all, didn't pull the mic with the cable, etc.). Now if you even try to remove the mic from its mount, the cable on the back will start to detach and fall apart. It could have been a faulty XLR cable to give you reason to doubt. Great product, garbage cable.

The Shure SM58-LC microphone and stand delivers great results.

I bought this microphone and I'm about to record on YouTube. One of the projects involved recording multiple Edison Diamond Discs. Photos from my first recording session a few days ago. The microphone and stand were ideal for reproducing the sound of the original recordings naturally. I also use it for voice for video webcasts. Both the stand and the microphone are built for heavy use, excellent quality at a great price. I'm very glad I didn't go for a cheaper brand. Both are designed forโ€ฆ

reliable standard microphone

I notice the photo has changed to the product; Comes with microphone, stand and pop screen. The old photo had a cable, not a filter. You want to order a cable if you don't have one. The microphone has its own adapter for tripods with larger threads. The included stand has both a clip and an adapter. The thread is for a smaller attachment point, so you don't have to order additional parts. The only issue with what was shipped to me was that there was no hole drilled in the clamp bolt for theโ€ฆ
