I was pleasantly surprised using this product in the salt water of the Sea of Cortez recently. I was on a 15 day wilderness kayak trip; no shower, no fresh water for washing. I have taken several sea baths with this soap. He washed himself away completely, taking all the remnants of the salt with him. And it has a nice citronella scent that might repel mosquitoes if they were in creek.

Really surprised how well it works. Removes grease and dirt well. Leave your skin clean and pleasantly scented. I like that it's biodegradable. Notice no anti-mosquito properties in it; The creatures still love me. The only thing I don't like is the aftertaste. I can't say for sure, but it's better to use Campsud's all-purpose cleaner. But that's just me, not the product.

I shower and shampoo with this product and no other soap as it lathers a lot and I'm free from mosquito bites for the first time in my life. I had so many bites on my ankles and legs that I looked like I had smallpox. Nothing but fabulous stuff. And it smells really nice during the day too. No more greasy sprays just to go outside. When I wash my face with this soap the soapy water covers every area unlike sprays where I always miss the streaks and spots that mosquitoes find. I highly recommend

I use it on long trips to lakes or rivers. I've used it on hair, skin, and clothing and it works great on all. Smells great too. No, it's not as good as shampoo, soap, laundry detergent and washing machine, but it's great as a 3-in-1 biodegradable product. I've also tried it as a bug repellent and it doesn't work there.
