Focusing is no problem for the A7III. Amazing lens.

This lens was purchased due to focus issues in low light conditions. I shoot weddings and creative portraits and need the lens to freeze the subject quickly when the lighting isn't ideal. With the A7iii's continuous focus, I've had no autofocus issues and can count on this lens to find the eye instantly. Yes, some shots are blurry (1 out of 10) when shooting at f/1.4, but that's to be expected. I don't touch single frame focus mode with this lens. But I don't have to. This lens is heavy and…

The lens is excellent, the equipment is not very good.

then look no further just buy this one. It's just perfect. Agree, it's a little bulky compared to the competition, but you'll just soon forget it. However, I have a small criticism of the packages offered by Digital Goja. I really like their service but I have already bought another lens from them - AND RECEIVED SUCH SUCH KIT TOO. It was an 85mm F1.8 lens with a 67mm filter thread, so all the lens hoods and filter sets are exactly the same. And no, I don't need 2 cleaning sets, one is enough…

You can't even find a used $650 lens that smells the quality of this lens

While $650-$800 isn't cheap, this lens is an absolute steal for the quality you get. This is possibly my favorite lens despite its weight. The only downside I can think of is that it's a monstrous lens. But with a great strap (I use and love the Peak Design Slide and it takes all the weight off of it) it doesn't matter. Even without a good strap, the weight isn't an issue as the aesthetic quality the lens produces is amazing. The sharpness and uniformity, even at the edges, is top-notch, and…

Sigma 35mm f1.4 for Sony

If I had known it was that heavy I probably would have waited a bit for the Sony 35mm f1.8. I wouldn't recommend it for a longer backcountry hike or a night hike. I guess it's impossible to make a quality lens feather light with a maximum aperture of 1.4. I did some testing right after receiving it as I recently had a very bad experience with the cheaper Samyang/Rokinon and also another Sigma lens (all 6 lenses I bought from different vendors in one year had to go to the Seller will be returned
