👶 Soft and Snuggly: Simple Joys by Carter's Baby 7-Pack Flannel Receiving Blankets for Ultimate Comfort Review

I have been buying Carter's reception blankets for 40 years. I usually chain two together (back to back) around the perimeter with matching baby yarn and then crochet around it. I've probably made +100 gifts for kids from friends, family and co-workers. I LOVE the durability of Carter's comforters. The prints are always fun and again the quality is always good. People tell me their college kids still have them!

They have such a cute design! These are simple and durable blankets that fit a baby well, are compact and can be carried in a diaper bag without taking up much space. The stains are easy to wash, will not fade or shrink with washing. I've used them as burp cloths a lot (I also recommend getting a pack of cloth diapers as burp cloths!) For swaddling, I highly recommend using a secure diaper like Halo or Swaddle Me, etc.

Do not buy this product, the price is too high for what they really are. The quality was like the rags I use to wash and dry the car, the size is too small, they are suitable for newborns and possibly newborns depending on how small your child is. They're not warm enough for cold weather and useless in summer, they're junk and you're basically paying $18 because they're Carter brand. Don't get me wrong, Carter's is a great brand, but sometimes some of their products are hit or miss.

Just waiting and bought these for our new baby. Like all my new baby clothes, I always wash them first. Outside of the bag, these are your standard quilts that you receive - after the first wash they will curl up (see photo) and not fold evenly. However, they are very soft, but if they look like that after a wash, I can't imagine them holding up the big scratchy tags on children's clothes - especially sleeping clothes. Brand.
