Totally disappointed in these bags. The first thing I noticed was that almost every bag had threads sticking out either at the top of the bag or on the straps, different shades of black, the side seams weren't straight, and the corners weren't lined up perfectly. On the plus side, the material is thicker.

I ordered these bags for class to carry chrome books. The bags arrived well packaged. When I started opening them I found that they were of poor quality. They are not real canvas and are quite thin. The seams have already come undone in several pockets. The worst thing is that some pockets have holes. Of the 12 bags, 7 had defects. Beware.

I actually bought this Christmas gift wrap instead of paper bags and/or wrappers. It's better to give someone something they can use again. Although they are small, they are quite suitable for my purposes. Definitely strong. Also a great bag for grocery stores and now that stores no longer supply plastic bags I recommend this as an option. Personally I use nylon because they weigh less, but I find them to be a very good choice.
