They work great. It seems that the dissatisfied reviewers didn't understand what they ordered, which is not a product defect. It took a little "gentle" jiggling to install them on my T5 bulbs, but the problem seemed to be a slight burr on the ends of the bulb's pins, not the adapter. Once mounted on a T5 lamp, the lamps fit perfectly into the T8 luminaire. I've been using them for almost two weeks now and they work as expected.

They were pressed completely against the ends of the lamps. The T5 with end caps still made the bulb at least 1/8" longer than my T8 so they didn't fit in the T8 fixture. I've tried several times to get them to work. The bulbs are just too long with these caps to work. I don't need to change any bulbs or these caps to make them work. They should work as described the first time without modification. If any changes need to be made to make them work, this should be written in the instructions…

After a recent LED upgrade we still have 30 brand new LED tubes in stock. I decided to upgrade some of our office fluorescent lights. I found that the T5 LEDs were shorter than the standard T8s and the lead spacing was shorter. I have found refurbished lamp holders but they are around $9-12 for EACH LIGHT!
