Thread breaks easily (especially when using self-tapping needles) and is not as smooth as other brands. That might be fine for smaller projects or just to have more colors, but it's definitely just a hobby.

I ordered them because the description says they are cotton. Packets of small spools of thread sold in stores used to be cotton, but now they are all polyester. I don't like polyester threads because they get tangled easily. Also, I wear cotton, not polyester, so I like the threads to be consistent. So I was happy to have found this product. Unfortunately, this yarn looks, feels and handles like polyester yarn, not cotton. I think the listing and packaging requirements are wrong.

This SINGER MERCERIZED COTTON HAND THREAD card is only 7 inches tall. You will receive 12 spools of cotton thread, but each spool is only 1 inch high and only contains 25 yards of thread. This means that each spool only has enough thread for a small repair or to sew on a few buttons. You will quickly run out of white and black colors, and you may not use the remaining colors at all. Colours: black, white, anthracite, pale yellow, brown, beige, dark green, light green, red, pink, dark blue, pale
