They are just too small. If you plan on using them, maybe to clean your phone or other small electronic devices, then I think they will work. The only reason we don't use them on almost everything is the tags. They do everything microfiber towels are supposed to do. They are very absorbent and can clean pretty much anything. Many things, even if they are dry. We also like how dense the pile is. This helps more than you think, especially with things like countertops and the like. I'm also sure it helps collect more fluid.
