I installed it in the rear trunk light in my 2020 Outback XT. Installation is easy. Just make sure the halogen bulb has cooled before attempting to remove it. My car came with LED map lights and a rear seat light, but for some reason Subaru used halogen for the trunk lights. Now they all fit together and look great. Very bright and consumes much less electricity.

I have ordered 3 pairs for the front courtesy light, rear passenger seat dome, trunk and two license plate lights. This is the first time I am contacting SiriusLED. products, and so far I am very satisfied with the temperature of the illumination of the lamps and the output power. Will buy from them again if needed and would recommend if my entourage ever needs LED lighting in their vehicle.

Well, almost. I used them to replace crappy w5w bulbs in my license plate light and I can't believe the difference! These things are insanely bright! A few things to know before buying/fitting: - They are longer than standard bulbs, look at the cavity they fit in to make sure you have room - Check them before you close everything . If they don't work, rotate the bulb 180 degrees and wire them that way. They need electricity to flow in a specific direction, not glass bulbs. Wear sunglasses!

I received these LEDs to replace the original door light bulbs on my 2003 Toyota Tundra. They are larger than the original bulbs but still fit with no problem. The real surprise is how much brighter they are than the original bulbs. I'd say at least 3 or 4 times brighter to the point where you shouldn't be looking at them directly when they're lit. Installed in place of the normal license plate light. It shines much brighter than normal, but does not dazzle. When I plugged it in, I had to fiddle around a bit because I didn't want to break the bulb. I used a small screwdriver to ensure the hole in the socket was clean enough to fit the lamp. It's great! They have a pretty cool color temperature, I would rate 6500K+. I have replaced all the dome, reader, glove box and trunk lightbulbs with these and am very glad I did. In the attached photo you can see three color temperatures: the original factory bulb, this LED and daylight through a window - you can also see how weak the factory bulb is in comparison. I put them on the number plate of my 2014 KIA OPTIMA SX and they really complete the look of the rear of the car, the car has great tail lights and when the number plate lights went out I replaced them with them and all. it just looks a lot better. Twice as bright as the SMD they replace. They were originally purchased because the LED license plate light I previously had was Yorkim junk. The Yorkim only lasted about 2 months before they started flickering and a couple of the LEDs in the bulbs went out completely, not to mention being very dim.
