Skechers Lights Sport LED Sneakers for Boys – shoes and athletic footwear Review

Shoes fit as expected, stylish and "so cool" for my first grader. He was very happy with his shoes until one of them stopped glowing after only a few weeks of use. He also occasionally wore another pair so they hardly got used (looks great anyway!) but the light really is the most important thing when you're in first class and we've had light-up shoes in the family that glow. forever, so that was a disappointment.

Lighted artists are our favorite shoes for our kids. The lights only lasted 1 month on this pair of sneakers. Super disappointed. $45 isn't a big deal if the shoe will last for years, but not if it wears out in less than a month. We have had previous couples who were over 4 and still beaming. The sneakers themselves still work and my kids love their design and color and say they are comfortable. They remind him of Jay, the blue ninja from Ninjago.

These shoes are beautiful, they shine very cool, they seem to be very well made, they offer support and stability and they have a nice velcro strap for my big footed boy. However, these shoes are very heavy, especially for a child. I'm really surprised nobody mentioned this in the reviews because they are too heavy. It's a shame because my son wears a size 4 and most Velcro shoes end up in a size 3. I really appreciate that Skechers continues to make plus size Velcro shoes. However, we'll have…
