Great shoes! in my rating

The fit is exactly what I've come to expect from Skechers, the same size as the previous ones. The shoes are comfortable and supportive. I think the Gowalk 2 were softer but they last longer due to the more supportive sole.

Pros
  • Comfortable. The foam cushion absorbs shock well and makes walking much more comfortable.
Cons
  • It just didn't feel good coming in.

Comfortable, but - my rating

Insanely comfortable, but they are slightly warped, breaking my little toes on both feet. If they did it in a broad area it would probably be perfect. Or I got a defective pair. In any case, they're not bad.

Pros

Not the advertised color

The color in the advertised image was much darker, the shoes themselves are more of a medium gray with green speckles. The color designation is "Olive" but I was hoping they would be the same shade as in the picture. That's really the only problem I have. These are comfortable shoes and provide adequate air circulation. Great for hot days. They creak a little the first few days on linoleum, but that will pass.

  • While the Skechers Go Walk 5 Forging can be comfortable and supportive, the style options for this shoe are limited to the grey/navy colorway. This can be a disadvantage when users are looking for shoes to match a specific outfit or style.

Great shoes! the best in my rating

This is by far the most comfortable walking show I've ever worn other than the first pair I bought. Light, comfortable and half the price of other shoes I've had enough of.

  • The most comfortable work shoes I've ever had! I am shocked. Absolutely no complaints.
Cons
  • Durability Issues: While knit fabric can be breathable and lightweight, it may not offer the same level of durability and durability as leather or synthetic material. Regular wear and exposure to the elements can cause shoes to wear out faster than expected.

It's hard to find the color in my review.

I love Skechers for reliability and comfort. I have several pairs but it took me a few years to find this "camouflage" green. I wish they had more styles with this color option.

  • I have always ordered 8.5 shoes from Skechers and this is the first time they have not fitted. Two are small and they hurt my legs.

My husband really likes Sketchers but online shopping is not for him. He tried one size larger than usual but the toe box was still too tight for him and he couldn't wear the wide ones as they were too wide. He has to go to the store and try on shoes.

Skechers Gowalk 5 Hiking Shoe

I usually buy Skechers Gorun shoes but as I no longer run I decided to give these a try. They are light and comfortable but seem a bit big because they got a blister on one heel the first time they were worn! Since then I've been wearing thicker socks (and a temporary patch) and haven't had any more problems.
