Flimsy Tie Down for Motorcycles

Don't waste your money on these cheap tie downs. I used them to secure my motorcycle on a trailer and they didn't hold up. Automotive quality? I don't think so. After I put it to the test, the ratchet mechanism failed and my bike almost fell off the trailer. The only pro is that they're cheap, but that comes at a dangerous cost. Spend a little more for better quality tie downs.

Pros
  • Strong and durable ratchet tie down
Cons
  • Potential difficulty in releasing tension from ratchet handle

Don't expect much in salt water.

They didn't hold up to salt water like I had hoped. That was the only reason I bought Sea Doo straps. My Home Depot straps lasted just as long and cost a lot less.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some cons

Works like a champ for motorcycles and powersports

Works well for tying a tag to the transom. The straps are a little longer than I need but I just cut them off and burned the cut end off with a lighter to keep it from tearing. Works like a champ!

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • I'm worried
