When you rub it into your skin, white flakes/granules begin to form on your fingers mimicking dead skin cells. I tested this by pouring some onto wax paper and then rubbing some more wax paper over it. The same white "flakes" appeared with no skin involvement. I don't think it will peel off anything. It was terrible. I mostly use Peter Thomas Roth peeling gel. This is nonsense in comparison. Yes, there was cellulose in it, and it comes out in pieces. However, it also has alcohol as a fourth ingredient. Sooo you use it and it dries very quickly and doesn't do its job. Gel peeling PTR contains no alcohol.
