My child loved his gift but it stopped spinning after less than 3 months and is a bit noisy but not annoying. However, manufacturers should deal with the problem that this item stops rotating after a while. Many other reviewers have encountered the same problem. So I was left with only light and music. I bought one of these for my second child in 2017 and he loved it but couldn't get up in his crib because of the bar and side rails. bent so I couldn't hang it there either. I loved this mobile. It sounded perfect with battery powered spinning, music and lights. I originally ordered this product and the second time I used it the spin motor stopped working. I have called Skip Hop multiple times and have never been able to get a customer service representative to take my call. Revain was very helpful with the return and sent a replacement straight away. This mobile is very attractive and the glowing leaves and star projection on the ceiling are great; Sounds (white noise, nature, etc.) are fine. However, it only has four songs and doesn't switch between four, just repeats the one you choose. It's really monotonous listening to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for over 30 minutes with no change. I only used the rotate feature and avoided songs, but for the money this really should be better in the music/sound department. Had to return it; I will try
