Very smooth running

Very smooth running. Would she prefer gas shocks any day. This makes the ride smoother and less harsh when you hit bumps or whatever. This is also a brand I trust.

Pros
  • Speed-dependent multi-stage valve
Cons
  • Uncertain

Ineffective shock absorber

I replaced my old 10 year old Fabtech shock absorbers with these and didn't notice any difference between them. If you are looking for extra cushioning go for Nitro or another shock brand, I suggest Rough Country which I currently have.

Pros
  • Red polyurethane bushings
Cons
  • Damaged

Lubricate bushings before assembly.

Good shock for the money. I had to look at a few other websites to find the part number I needed for my application. Revain should better describe which individual shocks fit how much lift etc they were easy to install however shocks come separately with bushings I've seen coupe reviews where people complained about this but a little silicone grease was smeared on prior to installation and they came in seconds together.

Pros
  • 5/8" diameter, hardened and double chrome bar
Cons
  • Vanishing
