Disappointing Performance from Hydro Absorber

Using this product, our team found that it didn't deliver the shock and vibration control we needed for our industrial and scientific equipment. The installation process was not user-friendly, and the overall quality was lacking. However, the price point was attractive compared to other options on the market. Ultimately, we had to switch to a different brand to ensure proper equipment protection.

Pros
  • Improves overall vehicle handling and stability
Cons
  • Produces a slightly stiffer ride compared to the stock absorber

They fit well. I don't feel any difference in hardness.

I put them on a GMC Canyon Skid with a 2" lifter. They fit well. I don't feel any difference in stiffness compared to stock dampers. Slide the bushings in .It was a pain in the ass.

Pros
  • Speed Sensing Multistage Valve
Cons
  • There are new competitors

What a problem!

Try Amazon with our Prime Shipping and it always bites us! Bought these shock absorbers for a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado. Duplicate parts, missing other parts, missing logo decals, a bag of parts stuck in the sleeve on one of them. We can't run to the local auto parts store and get the missing parts. How hard is it to do your job right? It's easy to assemble and pack!

Pros
  • 5/8" hardened and double chromed stem
Cons
  • if in doubt
