Based on our own experience with this shock absorber, we were left unimpressed. While it did provide some reduction in shock and vibration, it was not enough to justify the price. The biggest issue we encountered was that it had a tendency to leak fluid which is not only messy but also dangerous in an industrial setting..

Save your old parts for reinstallation. I was very disappointed that the Skyjacker did not include new hardware, rubber, washers, nuts etc. I was surprised. I bought 3 sets for my cars, 2 sets will come back. I had to modify the top bushing that fits the stud on the frame at the back of my 2006 F350 - I had to remove the inner steel insert to get through the stud and I modified 2 washers to hold the rubber bushing in place .
