Has the quality of the belt changed? I have had a slide belt black belt for a number of years, which I order directly from the company. zero problems. I chose to get the Braun through Revain and had issues with both my original order and the replacement. The outer leather material in which the buckle's teeth hold the belt is constantly being stripped, causing the belt to fail. It's not very flattering to play with your stomach in public and try to work it out. Unfortunately past my return…

I have received a few cheaper versions of this belt and it was obvious as soon as I opened this one up. The belt looks like real leather and is sewn on the sides. The gripping portion of the buckle is the full width of the belt, not just part of it, and keeps the end fairly tight. Another belt I bought keeps coming off and I'm buying leather clasps to fix it. This is clearly a cheap Chinese imitation. This should last a lot longer.

I'm writing this for my other half as he's just telling me what to order from Revain so I can review it too. He LOVES these straps. Actually I think I bought three. I can honestly say if he had written this himself he would have said BUY!

I'm on a diet and needed a belt that could (hopefully) shrink with me. I made 3 holes in my regular belt and it got too long. I tried the military style webbing but found it couldn't stay tight enough and still came loose when I needed it. This one is easy to open, easy to adjust, also holds a flashlight and other things I tie to my belt at work. The fur is so thick that I sometimes have a hard time threading it through the buckle a second time.

The belt works as advertised and I love the fact that it's micro-adjusted compared to the stock belt. However, the end of the buckle is a lot heavier than I expected. Not a big issue, but you'll definitely notice the weight.

This is a good product but not quite what I really wanted, the thickness could be a little thicker. The mechanism works well, but a few times it was a little awkward to put the belt in the buckle. The adjustment function works well, although the clicking sound is very loud, it can wake up a partner if he is a light sleeper :)
