I bought this sign because we live in the country and drive like crazy on this dirt road many weekends. We've tried to get the city to set a speed limit, but they haven't done it yet. As a result, police are not allowed to limit speeds below 55. We posted this sign on a tree near the road about 15 yards from our driveway and the crest of the hill. Time will tell how this thing holds up in the sun/rain etc but it's a good size and a very bright shield. I put two in either direction because there were people in our area driving over stop signs etc. I know it won't stop everyone and mainstream people won't care, but I've seen some cars especially slowed down when I first set it up, hopefully this will help my kids feel a little safer.
