    However, a great product.

Smallrig got really good and caused a problem with their design/construction and then required their customers to fix the problem. Either way it's a solid product, I just wish they were more active in their development.

Doesn't work with Samsung SSD T5

At first I thought I had a defective adapter but I've just received a replacement which also doesn't support using the Samsung SSD T5 as an external recording solution. Otherwise it seems solid enough but I am returning it as it is unusable for my purpose. drain it

USB-C doesn't work well in stabilizers

Bought two of these now. Both times USB-C didn't work. The HDMI part worked great and the way it attaches to the Smallrig cage works like a glove. I really want this product to work and protect my real ports from wear and tear. But until Smallrig can provide me with a working product. I will leave this post with 1 star.

    • Consistent test results
    Cons
    • Could have chosen a newer model

    It could be really great.

Had the same experience as some others. It kind of fits in the cage that a small setup makes for the bmpcc 6K, but seems like it's putting a lot of strain on the connectors because it's slightly offset. I ended up sending it back because my SSD wouldn't connect to that adapter. I connected the SSD directly to the camera and it worked.

That does not work! in Stabilizers

I don't know what SmallRig was thinking when they posted this. This does not work on Pocket 4K or 6K. I ordered one and replaced it thinking it might be defective, but after some testing with various cameras (mine and a few of my buddies) and various T5 and Juggler drives, the USB-C port on this thing isn't working . Work. SmallRig needs to go back to the drawing board with this one. It was the intention, but implementation suffered a major setback.

The USB-C part does not work! :(

Very disappointed considering this is the only reason I bought it for my Pocket 6K and the purpose of this thing in the first place. Seems to be a pretty basic device so I can I don't understand how bad it would be to start with I love the smallrig for everything else but this is the first electrical part I've bought and I'm not really happy with the result I mean it is a loud scream... no rocket science here. :(

    Perfection in photo and video

I like my Smallrig cage, but because of the HDMI mount on the Tilta, I've thought about switching. This little thing changed everything. Well, despite some issues I've read about USB-c not working, I've done a lot of testing on set and it's working fine. HDMI and USB-c work fine. Maybe the problem was with older versions, their device was defective, or maybe they had an inadequate data cable (I use Kondor Blue cables). I can only guess. but i have no complaints.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • Slightly wrinkled

    Design flaw - with bypass

: I bought another HDMI adapter from SmallRig - same problem. That's when I realized that on the side of the 2203B cage, the 2 threaded holes at the top are closer together than the 3 at the bottom (I don't mean the gap between the 2 sets - they're literally closer together). The original 2203 has 5 equally spaced threaded holes. So while you can't mount it according to the photos showing the updated cage, you can mount the device in the bottom three holes and still have access to both ports…

    Pros
    • ATTACHMENT WITH KNURLED SCREW
    Cons
    • There are other interesting options. FIX
