Smatree Mavic Air Carrying Case: Waterproof Travel Hard Case for Mavic Air Fly More Combo – Ideal for DJI Mavic Air Drone (Not Compatible with Mavic pro/Mavic 2/Mavic Air 2) Review

I bought this as a gift and it's better than comparable Mavic Air cases. The compartments are well organized and I'm pretty sure it's as waterproof as the other two Mavic Air cases I returned. In addition, the plastic here is clean. A case I've received previously had signs of release, probably when it was removed from the plastic mold, so little touches like this make the Smartree Mavic Air cases outstanding in both quality and value.

I read a lot of reviews before buying and the way the MA sits when folded wouldn't want it to sit on rear motors . Some people cut the foam to fit the DJI case inside the Smatree case. I decided to add some foam to replicate the DJI body, the MA sits there perfectly and I didn't have to cut anything. The size is a little big but when I travel I like to take whatever I can with me and the case seems very durable (important when grandkids are around).

We love this suitcase. No more stashing in the little bag that came with the Mav. aerial drone. Everything fits into its own little space, pre-formed in foam. Great case. Made a few modifications to my liking. I prefer to keep my Mavic Air in the original case because the original case includes a center support that reduces the weight of the rear motors. In my opinion the MA should never be flat when folded as most of the weight is on the rear motors. This case is PERFECT for accommodating both. Best of both worlds, double protection.
