Amazing sound! best in-ear headphones

This makes transcribing audio much easier! Voices are clear, background noise is greatly reduced, and the headphones are comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase. They are excellent and make my job a lot easier. Customers who appear to be writing on potatoes now sound like humans and I can easily transcribe what they are saying. This reduced the number of returns! Music sounds fantastic! Go ahead and buy them.

Great for first uses

I bought these on the recommendation of a youtuber. And they were amazing for the first few uses. Comfortable on my head (I wear glasses). Really good sound quality for editing music and podcasts. I liked the length of the cable and the finish is just beautiful. After the third use, the sound diminished and then disappeared. I thought it was my old computer headphone jack to blame, but by the time I found out the problem was with the headphones, the return window had closed. My recommendation…

OOOSVery happy with headphones

Either Sony MDR-7506 or these - I went with these because some people said the Sony has more bass than it should. I wanted natural sounding headphones. I am very happy with this sound. Very natural and neutral sound for video/audio editing. And you won't be disappointed with these casual listening headphones (especially considering the price). If you're looking for heavy bass, look elsewhere. They make the music sound the way it was meant to be heard. You can hear everything in the mix. They…

Tried 2 sets, neither delivered

I have been happy with my Sonys and have seen them with the same design except they had a detachable cable which could be replaced. Perfect, except the input cable was a 2.5mm design which required a custom cable and it prevented you from buying off-the-shelf parts unless you wanted to modify them - which is why I shyed away from the Sony cans first wanted to remove space, but I was in the game. The first pair of smh-1000's I received didn't work at all. Seriously, they made no sound at all…

Headphones Great Transcription

I'm a legal typist and I listen to audio all day. These headphones are of amazing quality. I had no idea how crappy my others were until I tried these. I don't think they are intended for listening to music if I read the description correctly. So, negative reviews from people saying they don't sound good mean they bought the wrong headphones for the job. The headphones are not to blame. I use them to record speech audio from many different media and not always the best quality but between them…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Something else

I bought them on sale for less than $50. They sound GREAT and the cables that connect to the headphones are really helpful. I had to buy new pads because the ones that came with the kit put pressure on my ears and it got painful after a few hours. New pads are around $7, though, so not a big deal. The bass on them is a little weak, but they sound amazing on the right songs. I use them when I play guitar. My only complaint is that the shorter cord is only 3 feet long. Using it on a computer or…

SMH should stand for Shake My Head.

I've been collecting headphones for a long time. My experience is based on the following devices: AKG K551, DT770, ATH MSR7, Modhouse Audio Argon, AKG K240S, AKG K240DF, Ultimate Ears UE6000, SRH440, JBL S500, Sony MDR ZX701ip and, by far the best comparison, MDR7506. Senals are the worst of them, both in assembly and in sound. First, it is definitely a clone of MDR7506. They last forever and I think they would if they were better designed. My headband was missing a screw. A foam ring is…

4.5 stars for a great video production update

I decided to buy these because there is too much work to fix the audio in the post. I've used some Wesc consumer headphones that worked fine during the hum, but after a while they kept giving me earaches (probably due to the tight factory EQ curve) and made me wonder if the rumble of a plane was nearby would get through. in tone. These Senal SMH-1000's are much more audible on the pitch. The EQ is much flatter, putting less strain on the ears and picking up things that regular headphones don't…
