We returned them. My son wore them to dinner - he was carried from home to the car, back and forth from the restaurant and then back to the house (so he never walked on them). He wore socks. They still managed to rub the front of his knuckles, staining them bright red. I suspect if he had actually walked in it his ankles would have been ripped off. I love these children's shoes! My 8 month old always wanted to stand, sit and walk with help but hesitated because he slipped. I tried non slip socks which helped him gain confidence. When the shoes arrived I put them on him and he immediately started to sit up and stand on his own. As if the extra grip helped him get the traction he needed. The shoes are well made and don't smell like chemicals. They are soft and easy to clean. The shoe has room to grow, but the velcro strap keeps it in place.

Overall these shoes aren't that bad. They are exactly the same as in the photo. I bought size 18-24 months and they fit true to size. They are probably US size 5.5-6 because I measured them on my 2 year old daughter's foot and they fit well (she is currently a size 6). I like that they are soft, have velcro so they are easy to put on and take off and the insole is quite soft. However, the insoles are not glued on and can be easily removed.
