Snoedel Newborn Preemie Sleeping Bonding Review

I was excited to put this in a gift basket as a 'just in case' for a friend on bedrest. However, she has just arrived, already open at the side and with a dirty schnodel. I don't know if it was a used return or if it was bad packaging, but I'm terribly disappointed.

I bought this a few years ago when my son, now 17, was born early with reflux and colic and cried non stop. For some reason, his dad comforted him the most, so this "noodle" saved me when he was at work. One day it disappeared. Sad sad day really. I couldn't replace him then. We never found him. And there is no substitute. But I'm so glad they're still around, they're so amazing. My grandchildren now use them when mom is supposed to be away.

I bought this for my son because I was returning to work and working long days (14 hours). First, the quality is great! The mother is soft and the design is cute. I slept with him a few nights before giving it to him and then when he got back to work my husband said he loves hugging him and helping him call him down. I sleep with it every few days to keep the smell. It's small and light so it's easy to snuggle up to, and it can be taken anywhere without being too big. Good product!

So far so good. He's a little smaller than I imagined and actually cuter. I watch a lot of horror movies and I worry that if they come here they might look "scary" but I was very wrong. Its color is bright and beautiful. Washed really well. It has a "Snoedel" label right at the hem and is sewn on where the duvet folds. It's just a very cute doll. I've been wearing it in my shirt and sleeping with it on for the past few days and can't wait to give it to my newborn in ICU tonight :)
