These boots had some advantages! In combination with winter pants and elegant wool socks, they worked great and kept the feet dry and warm. Sometimes when we wear them with regular pants we get wet. I managed to wash them but I guess I didn't follow the dryer instructions exactly (oops) and the inner lining shrunk a bit but that was after the whole winter season so I wasn't too disappointed with us good!

My 6 year old loves these boots! I have to put his regular shoes in his backpack because he wants to wear them to school when it's not raining or snowing. I chose them because the colors remind me of Batman and the brand name. I was pleasantly surprised that they are better than I thought. I went a size or 2 larger than what my son normally wears and I know they will hold up completely and will probably pass them on to my daughter at some point. Merrill makes all their shoes good.
