Ordinary blanket is too bulky and it feels tangled. This product was very light when it arrived - I was surprised. It fluffed up really well after I took it out of the box. I definitely do not recommend this product. I regret the purchase. Bought it on offer day when reviews were high. At first I absolutely loved it. Looks great, feels great, very soft. But there are always huge problems with fluffy balls. I don't know if the thread count on the fabric is too low, but the padding (microfiber?) just always finds a way out.
