SO Jamaican Black Castor Oil Review

So I think this product really works BUT it's very dirty and has an almost fishy smell. It's very thick and difficult to get the right amount onto the applicators they provide, which are mascara sticks (they have three of them). I think if you had an angled eyeshadow brush it might work better for applying this stuff to the browbones. Sticks work well for lashes if you get the right amount.

Very thick, be sure to use a small angled brush to apply to browbones and lash line or it will just clump. The smell bothered me personally, I don't have enough experience with other castor oils to know if this is normal or not. I haven't had a negative reaction, but always remember to do a reaction test.

I tried taking before and after photos but couldn't tell much of a difference. It's hard to keep using it when the serum smells like poop :/ The smell is bad, but so is the way you use the stuff. Basically, you just dip your brush in after removing the lid. The problem is that you have to remove any excess serum by rubbing it into the bottle. Use this as directed and you will see results in a timely manner. Don't apply too much to your lashes as you think it will be more effective. It will just blur your vision because the oil will get in your eyes lol. **I've only been using it for a week** Several eyelash brushes are included with the product. I use the same one or a week. It's easy to use. Take a brush, dip in oil, wipe excess oil off brush, test on hand, apply. The brush picks up a lot of oil and the instructions say to apply a small amount. I got this for my sister in law she said "I love this product! My eyelashes are growing, but my eyebrows wouldn't have grown the way they do now. But the liquid is thick and not irritating to the eyes. I use about a month.

After using this product, I can see that my lashes have lengthened a bit and look very beautiful. The only problem I had is that it has a very thick consistency and it's difficult to remove oil from tiny brushes. Can't wait to see how it changes.

castor oil is ok, for heaven's sake what do you need an ink pen for and the castor oil squeezed out is so thick that it's difficult to apply the right amount of stick. Another question is how hygienic is it? I didn't realize it was going to thicken and when you put it in the bottle there's a big drop of product left and if the pen isn't clean you'll mess it up. You can easily throw the product away because of its consistency.
