SocketCluster Review

The socketcluste allows me to host my chat app (and other apps) in one place, so I can update them easily without having to worry about whether they're online or offline at all times! It also has some really handy tools that allow you do things like limit access per user/group of users as well as set up your own custom roles within it which makes managing permissions very easy - there's no need anymore to use third-party libraries such as Firebase Auth / Google auth etc., just manage everything

It's very easy to use, doesn't require much configuration or setup beyond what you'd need with any other node server library (we're using it in combination w/ socketio). The built-in clustering functionality works great! If there were some way of connecting directly via URL instead I would be even happier; but that may not always make sense depending upon user needs / situation at hand so we'll stick within their API where possible :) Great option if your backend service requires realtime…
